All data sourced from Wyoming Department of Revenue Sales and Use Tax Report of Distribution Amounts by Entity, by Tax Type. These official reports provide detailed monthly distribution data for every municipality in Wyoming.

- State Share: Portion of state sales tax distributed to municipalities

Coverage Notes
FY2007-2011: Comprehensive coverage of ~95 municipalities per year including all cities, towns, and smaller municipalities.
FY2012-2026: Report format changed to entity-specific documents. Current dataset includes 22 major municipalities per year including all cities with populations over 10,000 and major towns. Smaller municipalities will be added in future updates.
FY2021-2023: Source documents for these years are currently being processed. Data for these fiscal years will be added in future updates.

All values are verified against Wyoming Department of Revenue published summary totals where available. Year-over-year changes are reviewed for accuracy and consistency with source documents.
